Before you start thinking that e-cell is just another committee formed in college, hold on, if you are just considered about how prestigious the organization is; with whom e-cell is associated; let me tell you that. Its a world of branding and I wouldn’t blame you for thinking on those lines.
So, I would like to tell you a bit about National Entrepreneurship Network(NEN) today.
NEN’s RICH ACADEMIC AND PHILANTHROPIC FOUNDATION:
NEN was co-founded by IIT Bombay; IIM Ahmedabad; BITS, Pilani; SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai; Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology, Bangalore.
It is primarily supported by the Wadhwani Foundation, a philanthropic initiative of Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, Chairman of the Symphony Technology Group, and has offices in Bangalore and Mumbai.
WHAT IS NEN?
NEN is a non-profit organization which was formed in 2003 just for helping and inspiring entrepreneurs. It provides critical support to start-ups and early-stage entrepreneurs through high-impact entrepreneurship education; access to mentors and experts; fast-track access to incubation and funding; and learning tools and materials.
It is basically associated with over 470 top acedemic institutions in India to create an entrepreneurship friendly environment in the campus.
